The Nordic approach to digital identity

If the route forward has already been mapped, there’s no need to find a new the path. The Nordics are generally  recognised as being close to a decade  ahead of the rest of Europe when it comes to digital identity. Originally conceived to make financial services onboarding simple, BankID is now used by almost four million people to sign leases, open secure mail, and even book tanning salon appointments.

With GDPR and PSD2 privacy issues also growing in importance, a digital identity solution is becoming a modern day essential.  In this live panel discussion, we'll explore:

  1. The history of digital identity in the Nordics
  2. Learning points for other European markets
  3. How digital identity can accelerate fintech innovation
